We want to understand how practices are used. Your attention is not for sale.
What we measure
MONO uses TelemetryDeck to understand how many people open the app, start and finish practices, leave early, and reach completion milestones. This helps us improve the exercises.
Events include the practice and level, planned and active duration, completion count, event time, app version, build and iOS version. We do not collect your name, email, journal entries, feelings, touch movements or advertising identifier through analytics.
Anonymous usage
The app creates a random identifier, hashes it before sending it, and uses it to count returning installations. It is not tied to an account or your identity. TelemetryDeck further anonymizes identifiers. We see usage statistics, not who you are. Read how TelemetryDeck handles anonymization.
We do not sell or share usage data for advertising, build advertising profiles, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Our revenue model is the app’s initial purchase.
You can turn it off
In MONO, open Settings → Your data → Share anonymous usage. This is on by default. Turning it off stops future analytics, clears unsent events, and resets the random identifier. It does not remove events already received by TelemetryDeck.
The app keeps a small queue of unsent events on your device until they can be delivered. Stored analytics follow our TelemetryDeck plan’s retention period. Because we do not link them to your identity, we may be unable to identify previously received events as yours.
What stays on your device
Your practice journal and preferences are stored locally. MONO does not upload journal entries or personal reflections to our servers. Device backups may include local app data, depending on your Apple settings.
This website and purchases
We do not add advertising pixels or analytics scripts to this website. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the site. Any host sign-in is separate from MONO’s app analytics.
App Store payments are handled by Apple. We do not receive your card details. Apple’s own privacy and purchase terms apply to its services.
Questions and your choices
MONO is made by Aaron McGuire. For privacy questions, or to ask about access, correction or deletion where applicable, email mail@aaronmcguire.design. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and retain correspondence only as needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or contact your local data protection authority. We will update this page when our practices change and show the date above.
